Rangers Football Club is a professional football club in Glasgow, Scotland, competing in the Scottish Premiership, the top division of Scottish football. Often referred to as Glasgow Rangers, though this has never been its official name, it is the fourth-oldest football club in Scotland, founded by four teenage boys in March 1872. Rangers play at Ibrox Stadium, designed by Archibald Leitch and opened in 1929, which is a Category B listed building and Scotland's third-largest football stadium.

Rangers have won the Scottish League title 55 times, the Scottish Cup 34 times, the Scottish League Cup a record 28 times and the domestic treble on seven occasions. They won the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1972, having been losing finalists in 1961 and 1967, and lost two further European finals, the 2008 UEFA Cup final and the 2022 UEFA Europa League final. By number of trophies won, Rangers are one of the most successful clubs in the world.

Rangers have a long-standing rivalry with Celtic, the two Glasgow clubs being collectively known as the Old Firm, one of the world's biggest football derbies. With more than 600 supporters' clubs in 35 countries, Rangers have one of the largest fanbases in world football, and hold the record for the largest travelling support in football history, when an estimated 200,000 fans travelled to Manchester for the 2008 UEFA Cup final.

One of the eleven original members of the Scottish Football League, Rangers remained in the top division until a financial crisis in 2011-12 forced administration and liquidation of the original company. Placed in the fourth tier, they won three promotions in four years to return to the Premiership in 2016 and claimed their 55th league title in 2020-21, a then world record.
