AEK Football Club (Greek: Athlitiki Enosis Konstantinoupoleos, "Athletic Union of Constantinople"), known as A.E.K. in Greece and AEK Athens internationally, is a Greek professional football club based in Nea Filadelfeia, Attica. Part of the multi-sport club A.E.K., it uses the double-headed eagle as its emblem and the yellow and black colours inspired by the Byzantine Empire. The club plays at the Agia Sophia Stadium, which holds 32,500 spectators.

AEK was founded on 13 April 1924 in Athens by Greek refugees from Constantinople after the Greco-Turkish War (1919-1922) and was nicknamed Enosi (Union). It is one of the most successful clubs in Greek football, with 33 national titles, including 14 Greek Championships, 16 Greek Cups, 2 Super Cups and 1 League Cup, and is the only Greek club to have won every domestic competition organised by the Hellenic Football Federation. AEK also won three consecutive league titles once, from 1992 to 1994.

In Europe, the club has appeared repeatedly in UEFA competitions. It is the only Greek club to have reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League (1976-77) and to have twice reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup (1996-97 and 1997-98). AEK was also the first Greek club to reach the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League (1968-69) and to qualify for its group stage (1994-95), and it remains the only Greek club to have reached the quarter-finals of four European competitions. AEK is one of the most popular football clubs in Greece, with a worldwide fanbase of more than one million supporters.
